Dolly-Parton
Dolly Parton escaped the struggles that shaped her life at an early age by using her creative and imaginative imagination. Before she could read and write she had already composed the songs she wrote herself. At the age of 8, she got her first electric guitar and began singing on a Knoxville Tenn Radio Station. The first album she recorded was during the same year Gold Band Records, a small independent label. In high school she made herself known to the local community, however her ambition was bigger. In the exact day that she was able to graduate from the high school in 1964. Dumb Blonde, Something Fishy and Dumb Blonde both charted on Monument Records in 1967. Porter Wagoner began looking for women to sing for his television show that was syndicated about the same time. Parton became a member of Grand Ole Opry 1969 after contracting to RCA Records. In 1974, she resigned from The Wagoner's Show due to the popularity of her singles like Joshua Coats from Many Colors or Jolene was surpassing their joint albums. Parton following the breakup of their collaboration with Wagoner, wrote I Will Always Love You and had it reach the top spot at No. Its first appearance at No. 1 was 1974.
