Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington has been a Greek American columnist, author and businesswoman for more than 20 years. She founded The Huffington Post and the director of Thrive Global. Author of fifteen books. Arianna Huffington is an independent liberal news outlet and a television host author, author and charitable donor. She was born in Greece and relocated to England when she was 16. In Cambridge University, she graduated with an MA in Economics. The first ever foreign-born student to hold the position of president in the famous debate group The Cambridge Union, at 21 years old she took over the presidency. Being a conservative syndicated blog following her graduation, she was able to be a voice of the Huffington Post. Arianna was able to attract many prominent contributors to share their opinions regarding politics and culture. Arianna was first noticed during 2003 when she volunteered in California's recall vote, replacing then Governor Davis. In addition, she led the Detroit initiative that promoted fuel efficient vehicles. Forbes listed her as one of as one of the "most important women" in media with her ranking at the 12th spot. Guardian placed her on their list of 100 most influential media people in 2009. AOL Inc. purchased The Huffington Post, and she was made president of this media group. The acquisition included a number of AOL products at the time such as Engadget AOL style list and Patch Media. Elli Stasinopoulos is a daughter born to Konstantinos an advisor to management and a journalist. Even though she was close with father, her relationship to her mom was the defining factor in the remainder of her life. As a child, she showed leadership traits which she is still renowned for. When she was 16, she moved from America to United Kingdom and enrolled Girton College Cambridge. As a student, she joined the Cambridge Union, a college debate club. The third female president and first foreigner, she held the position of head of Cambridge Union. In 1972, she earned a Masters in Economics. She was a journalist as well as a host on TV and a columnist after her graduation. In addition, along with Bernard Levin she appeared on an episode of Face the music.
