Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, raised in Wellington) is the name of a Canadian actress from Canada. Paquin was born in Winnipeg and grew up in Wellington and made her debut in the role of Flora McGrath when she played the role in The Piano. She won an Academy Award at the age of 11 to be the Best Actress Supporting Actress. Anna Paquin is full Anna Helene Paquin born on July 24, 1982 Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Canadian actress, and New Zealander, who, at the age of a youngster, was awarded her first Academy Award in 1993 for the best supporting actress. Paquin moved to New Zealand from Canada as a little girl and grew in the country. As a result of an audition, Flora McGrath was cast as the daughter a Scottish pianist. Flora McGrath is the daughter of the mute Scottish musician who moved from Scotland to New Zealand to marry in the 19th century. The actress moved to the United States as a teen. Paquin was in a brief role in the film's title role when she was just a young girl on Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre (1996) as well as a lead part in the movie Fly Away Home (1996). Paquin played Frankie Addams as a child in the 1996 television version of Carson McCullers novel The Member of the Wedding. Paquin also had a role of Queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's 1997 feature film Amistad. The actress played teens in the films of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) as well as the character of the polexia Aphrodisa groupie in Almost Famous (2000).
