Anita Saarkessian

Anita Sarkeesian is a Canadian-American feminist media critic as well as a public speaker. She is the founder of Feminist Frequency, a web site that features videos and comments analysing the way women are depicted in pop culture. Anita Sarkeesian is an award-winning feminist media critic from Canada, as well as a blogger. Feminist Frequency is a site designed to provide education on female roles in popular culture, is directed by Sarkeesian. She's determined to dismantle stereotypes about women and how they appear in popular culture.
