Kari Samantha is an American actor, performer and singer (born on April 28, 1967). She began her professional career as a teenager and is best known for her roles as Maggie Beckett in the television show Sliders and as Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), who is a payroll manager, and German American Andrew Wuhrer, a police officer and auto salesman. She has three siblings. She was a teenage singer who was a regular in the clubs and hid from the family in order in order to perform.
